I am kinda new to badminton, i dont have a fancy gym or league around me, i just have a court set up in my back yard. And i bought this tube of 12 shuttles off ebay, called S. ARROW Shuttles, and they are constantly breaking. Do all feather shuttles break?, are they all fragile?
my best guess, that shuttlecock that you bought is low grade. higher grade shuttle performs much more better. to enjoy badminton; 1. play indoor, not necessary fancy or high tech gym 2. good average racket + average string quality 3. good badminton shoe 4. average quality of shuttlecock item 2, 3 & 4, you may refer to Dinkalot's review.
Do i really need shoes??? And there is absolutely no where to play around me, and i have a Yonex Arcsaber 10, which i think is expensive, but i only paid $40

shoe, can be said, is the most important. shoe provide necessary support for all badminton's movement in the court. front, back, sides, jumps etc..... unless you are looking for ankle injury trouble. as for your Arc10, i do believe it is a counterfeit yonex racket, unless there is some one really selling to you at that friendly price. as for plastic shuttle choices, may ask cooler for some opinions......
$40 for Arcsaber 10 is not possible, it's faked one. If you play outside, suggest Nylon shuttlecocks, they are more durable.
Well i just got the racquet in the mail about 3 hours ago and its sick!! I have used other racquets that cost like $130-$160 and this thing beats them out! i could care less that it isnt an original yonex or whatever, the raquect is amazing!
If it works for you than its all good. Most "casual" players that aren't too into their racquets probably can't tell the different between racquets. Shuttles, i suggest getting some plastic ones for now and playing indoors if you can.

LOL I find it funny that you have such a good racquet and yet you only play on your backyard! What a shame. I feel sorry for the racquet
If just for fun, plastic shuttle is the best choice, as it's more durable, which means more forgiving to the pocket.
no, i mean some half decent kind. There are many brands but on the safe side, i would stick with Mavis 300/350 it would give taneepak and 2beer heartattack if they learned AS50 been played with a $40 racket
Your 'stories' don't agree with each other. On August 20 you broadcast to us you got an Arcsaber 10; but now, 3 days later, you are telling us you just got it 3 hours ago. You sure that racquet is sick and not the owner?
