If Micheal Phelps is Malaysian, he be a Tun by now.

All these titles, in my opinion should be given with due care or else come 2020, 30 million out of say 35 million Malaysians are either Datuk, Datuk Seri, Datin, Tan Sri, Pun Sri or Tun.

If you go to Buckingham Palace and ring the door bell for an appointment to see Queen Elizabeth. I wonder whether she would accept RM100,000 or so for a 'sir' (equivalent to the datuk title) title??? Or would she provide you with a price list of following:

'Sir' ................ 100,000

'Lord' ............... 200,000

corruption is everywhere in malaysia. They will accept rm100k for datukship in malaysia

I would suggest instead of using that word 'corruption', I will rephrase my statement to something like this .... "Entrepreneurship is eveywhere in Malaysia and as long as there is a willing buyer and seller, getting a Datukship is possible".

This way you dont give kwun a heart attack.
