At least the guy who caught the racket was caught on camera. So he has proof. As the guys who got the shoes, they probably smell. That is why they want to sell it Plus, what is the point of wearing one shoe. I know, I know. But this is a good one.
If the person bought the same model, and wore the missing shoe, that would work, except they'd need to consider making sure they knew which one was the one from Lin Dan.

Lindan does uses a white tape over his racket. It does make the racket heavier and not for the looks purposes.
