The old AT700 had a frame durability issue. The new AT700 should have fixed that problem.

Still not that durable. You should be wary of clashing it. Classic Cabs are absolute beasts in durability compared to modern AT, NS, MP series.

AT900 has slightly better durability than AT700 however in singles there is no racket clash.

If you are a leisure player then both rackets are not a good idea. There is no point spending that much money if you aren't going to become serious. An Apacs racket is a better option since they are cheap and perform good.

Is all about your financial issue.
If you have money to spend is ok to buy 900T or 700.
However if the purpose for only recreational I don't think it necessary to buy high end racket.

By recreational, do you mean just hit the bird back and forth, no games?

If you play games, it's ok to get either racquet.

If you are playing for fun and having occasional games, I think you should consider other brands as well. They offer equally good rackets as compared to YY.

I've seen one. Back in my schooling days (80's), shuttle tipped too high above the net, attacker going for a netkill and the defender tried to block. Neither cared where the shuttle landed then. Luckily we are playing with steel rackets back then so no harm done.

I'm using new version at700. Clashed with Victor BS 08 recently.
My at700 won and just got a tiny tiny paint chip off. I strung 27lbs. Just want to share.

Similar thing happened to my friend. Bought a 700 and broke it on a drop shot racquet clash the first day playing.
But damn that 700 generates insane power!!!

I've been thinking of trying AT700(latest gen) but wondering how does it performs against N90(1st gen). I have N90 but no AT700, so no chance for comparison. I play doubles and singles game, and find N90 has good overall attack and defend. The feel of unstrung AT700 is indeed very good too. I'm unsure if this would be wise decision to buy AT700 or maintain with N90(or get 2nd piece). Any advise will be very much appreciated. Thxs.
