    Hi,
I'm a new comer here in this forum and since I read so many reviews and see lots of pros in this forum, I might ask your opinion about the racquet I'm gonna get.
I'm more into a weekend player since I'm busy at school but I love playing badminton since I was a kid. Regarding how I play.. I usually the typical clearer or smasher from behind rather than netting on the front when playing doubles. But I prefer to play singles.

I'm currently considering a few racquets in mind. I love the YONEX MP99, AT 900T and NANOSPEED 9000s. What are the difference between those?
Since I know those are the high end racquets, I'm also considering a lower ones like MP45 and NANOSPEED 8000.
Which of these do you think suits me well?
I'm ready to spend about $150-$200, but the thing is that worth it to buy a $200 racquet where I'm only a weekend player?

Lastly, Do any of you knows the cheapest store to buy badminton racquets?

    Thanks heaps

It's not worth spending so much money if you aren't a serious player. Have you considered other brands like SOTX and RSL? If you buy from online websites it will be cheaper.

    1) Welcome!
    2) Sorry to ask you this. How can you love 3 top end racquets if you have not have a chance to use them before?
    3) I feel NS8000 is also a top end racquet. I like it very much also.
    4) Please demo or try out the racquet before you make a decision to buy. PM me when you are ready, I will see what I can do to help out.

    Thanks for your reply.
Yeah it makes me think whether or not those racquets are suitable for me.
maybe the right word is DURABLE. I need racquets that are durable. I was thinking of getting something good and cope with that racquet.
I'm currently using Yonex Isometric which I think out of date.

Well, say I'm an intermediate player but doesn't play frequently, which racquet do you think suit me well?
    I'm looking for yonex.

Are these racquets good? I'm sorry I haven't heard it before.
I look at the website, RSL from London?
Are there many people using it right now?

Both SOTX and RSL are good racquets and depend on what you pick, you can find one that is as good as Yonex. 1 thing in mind is that both high end SOTX and RSL are quite durable. At lease it will survive minot clash. Go to www.ibysport.com and you will find some good deals. Just mention I send you there.

The are many people using SOTX and RSL in this forum including me. I changed from Yonex to SOTX after i found out SOTX rackets performed just as good or better at a cheaper price. Take SOTX Woven 7 as an example. Good performance and high durability and cheap.

Yes, I've read some excellent reviews about SOTX.
Do you know any cheap website selling this racquet?
Also do you know what's the difference between Woven 8 and 12 primarly?

Since you are in the US, Ibuysports is the cheapest for you since they have free shipping to the US. W12 is more of an Offensive racket where W8 is all rounder. I would recommend getting W7 or W11 instead of W12 since they are cheaper and perform the same.

If you like Yonex the most, I think AT900T or Arc10 would be a good choice. Chen jin, whom comes fome national team of china, is the same style in palying badminton, as you are. Recket of RSL is also easy to use because of its weight. Such as 8900, X2 SE BLUE/GOLDEN.
