Do you wash your badminton shoes?
    Weekly monthly or yearly?
Or those shoes no need to wash?

If you are talking about the soles i wash them after each session. If you are talking about the whole shoe then i never do it.

Be careful with running shoes because you are very likely to twist your ankle with them

Well not actually running shoes. They are like flat adidas superstar shoes.

So like casual/style shoes? They weren't designed for sport so still be careful

Yea, I might get some sport shoes when I go to Seattle this weekend. Looking for sport shoes that look good and are good for badminton.

You can try looking at Yonex shoes and when you find the right size buy it from online shops because it will be much cheaper.

My parents won't let me buy online though, unless I can convince them.

Just show them the price difference. That should convince them.

hmmm, i don't think i've ever washed my badminton shoes.
i just air them after each session, and replace them when they get really torn/dirty.

I used to wear by pair of Nike Dunks last year to play badminton, they had superb grip but they got really wasted after playing badminton. I'd rather keep them looking 'cool'.

a word of warning, don't wash the rubber sole with soap, it ruins the grip, not sure what the reason is but after giving my yonex a complete 'snow wash' with detergent years ago, they lost all the grip, seems like the rubber hardened from the wash.

Did you use cold or hot water? Cold water hardens the rubber while hot water makes it softer.

They think buying stuff online is not safe and that they might be scammers and get their credit card information.
Any popular safe sites to buy them?
