Kelly Morgan (born May 22, 1975) is a Welsh badminton player born in South Wales, who attended Bryn Celynnog Comprehensive school in Beddau, near Pontypridd.

Do you see a trend here? the opponents who beat her were either Gold/Silver Medalist

Morgan played badminton at the 1996 Summer Olympics, defeating Yang Song of Australia in the first round and Zarinah Abdullah of Singapore in the second round, before losing to Mia Audina of Indonesia in the third round. Mia Audina went on to win the Silver Medal

Morgan played badminton at the 2000 Summer Olympics, defeating Aparna Popat of Indiain the first round and Koon Wai Chee Louisa of Hong Kong in the second round, before losing to Camilla Martin of Denmark in the third round. Camilla Martin went on to win the Silver Medal

Morgan played badminton at the 2004 Summer Olympics, defeating Lenny Permana of Australia in the first round but losing to Zhang Ning of China in the second round. Zhang Ning went on to win the Gold Medal

Her greatest achievement, of course, winning Gold in 1998 Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur

You take part in tournaments all over the world. Which are your favourite countries to visit?
I won gold at the Commonwealth Games in Malaysia in 1998 - which has probably got a lot to do with why I like the country so much. :D
