    Guys,

    I noticed in the a lot of pics posted in this forum; most of the racquets have a small sticker on the cone which says PBSI and looks like a logo.

    What is it? The NS9k I bought for $180 doesnt have that logo. Does that mean its a fake?

    Thanks.

    PBSI mean badminton organization in Indonesia and not all racket have PBSI logo, only Yonex south east area (SP code)
    Yonex from America, Thailand, Canada, Japan doesn't have the logo and still original. You can check in your cone, look the number and the code or you can check in the forum about this code means :D
    If your racket is SP code and doesnt have the PBSI symbol then surely 1000% it was fake. You can post your code in http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=31873 to satisfy yourself :D

    PBSI = Persatuan Bulutangkis Seluruh Indonesia --> Indonesia Badminton Association.

    back in 2003, I have an engineer friend from China came to Singapore and bought 4 or 5 pieces Yonex MP99 rackets from Queensway Shopping Centre (Singapore) ... when I asked why you need t buy so many rackets while you can get easily in China, he simply answered me because of "PBSI logo" .....

    that's odd, i wouldn't think that an IP or SP racquet with a PBSI logo on it is necessarily any better than one without. it might just be a psychological thing.

    I don't really agree with the statement u've made.In my opinion,The possibilities:He found SP is more worthed to buy than the CH.CH's paint job is poorer than the SP.Another factor is that maybe he found out that SP in china r more expensive than it is in singapore.Or,another one,he is just in love with PBSI.:D

    CHINA=FAKE??..:eek::rolleyes::confused::confused:

    Yea..preety funny fact.They should stick the PBSI sticker on the IP,not on SP rackets.Since IP r for national team players.

    If you're going to discuss the PBSI logo and its mysteries, that's fine here.
    If, however, personal banter is the idea, please go to the Chit Chat section :(

    Not necessarily true, and by rule of thumb, its not advised to use "always" or "never," or in your case 1000% LOL. The PBSI sticker is a water slide decal/sticker and ive seen the peel, scratch and fall off, thus a sp/ip racket could be genuine, but is missing its pbsi seal. 1000% LOL
