Hold is probably how flexible the frame is, cause a flexible frame (like ARC series) will hold the bird longer, as compared to a stiff frame (NS9000X) will flex and ricochet faster (repulsion).
Flexible FRAME, not shaft. When flexibility is normally mentioned, it applies to the shaft. ARC series has flexible frame cause of CS nanotubes, so they can "hold" the bird better.
ok i dont mean to be a bother but what is the difference between the flex of the frame and of that of the shaft in terms of what aspect of one's game would each affect? (i did search)
I would just say that flexy frame like ARC series feels like the bird is there for a tiny bit longer, so you can feel more control ish. Stiff frames feels like the bird just rockets off. You can ask other people for their opinions but that's just what I think.
