Chrome, the new browser from Google, is out.
It's fabulous... simply because it's downright simple! ;)

Chrome is uncluttered, very fast and kinda cute too.
To me, the best features (that I've discovered so far) are:

    - the address box is now both an address box and a search box
    - incognito browsing (a critical function when I'm in my office :D)
    - the repositioning of the tabs

It's Beta but it feels like a full release.
Try it out... and decide whether to say goodbye to Internet Explorer.

And, the first site I visited using Chrome is... guess what?
Of course, it's Badminton Central :p

Ah well, until they bring out a Mac version, I'll have to be satisfied with good old Safari. I read that the PC version is pretty quick

    Yes!

    It's fantastic browser!

I really love it.. google really one of the craziest company who always think out of the box and come up with fantastic products.

Those who'd like to know more technical things on what they are bringing into this new browser can check out the chrome comic:

No good for me. I get "...Memory Instruction Failed..." error every single time. Back to my old IE and Firefox.

i looked at the log. quite a few BC members are now using Chrome.

most users are using IE, 53%, and then Firefox, 38%, the rest are divided between Safari, Opera, etc.

i did noticed in the log that there are people browsing BC using Chrome back a few days in Aug 25 before it was publicly released. so i guess we have Google engineers who are also BC readers. sweet. great stuff guys.

    That's awesome

Since it's badminton, it's unlikely to be Google California.
Must be either Google Singapore or Google India ;)

I assume Kwun knows who they are anyway.

What is the difference? not being a techno-geek I don't find anything wrong with IE:confused::confused:

    Wow! something Kwun doesn't know!

So what is the difference between Firefox, IE or this chrome? Google is really starting to step into MSs territory now.
