Probably has been discussed before, yet I cannot find the threads. Question is: how does the quality of UK coded rackets compare with others? Is this significant or just psychological?
This has been discussed many times, no one knows for certain. Personally I believe they're all the same, I say this cause I come from a manufacturing engineering background, and I know that it'd be by far and large the cheapest and thus most efficient means of manufacturing would be if they just made them all the same. Variation costs money! However, there are counter examples to this, e.g. the existence of CP coded racquets. I think its just psychological.
Do you know that even Yonex will deny that different country codes of their brands are different if really forced to? If they say otherwise explicitly or implicitly they will find the Japan Fair Trade Commission going after them.
The code issue has been discussed many times. Outsiders wouldn't know the truth while insiders wouldn't tell the truth.
Then again, there is the matter that everybody here is discussing JP and CP vs SP and IP vs TH and stuff. What happened to the rest of the codes in that discussion? I mean, I dont' believe in the difference in codes, but for these people who believe there is a difference, how do CD, US, UK, etc compare to the more discussed SP, IP, JP, CP, and TH codes?
Kook, once and for all, all codes are the same quality. If otherwise, Yonex as a responsible corporation would be in serious trouble. The Japan Fair Trade Commission has already issued a warning letter to Yonex in Japan re another issue about shuttlecocks, in which Yonex tried to "fight dirty" (a violation of Japan's anti-trust laws) against imported Chinese shuttlecocks into Japan.
