I had asked a vendor in Klang, he told me that the price of MP99 ( he said there is no MP90 in Malaysia acording to the salesman ) is RM 790 ( about US 200 ), but no stock at the moment. The racquect comes with free track bottom, string ( BG 66 ) and Kakaral grip.
If that is really the price, then it is quite expensive.
I had asked Etakoh and they said they don't have this model yet.
However the price bugjan gave was the same ( just only a few bucks different ) when I called Etakoh.
Now it is a decission on whether to wait for MP90 ( wait until it is available and price drop ) or straight away get a MP77, MP100 or Ti10.
Any suggestion?
Thanks in advance.

I have called Etakoh about MP-99, it has not arrived yet. Now, it depends on your budget. If you have enough money you can buy all and wait for MP-99 as well.
But if you want to be selective, I won't choose MP-77, why ? because it has the same material with MP-55. The differences are long, ultimum-Ti (Not Ti Mesh Composite which MP-100 has).

hmm... but MP77 got titanium in it... anyway I heard other people said that before also... it seems that MP77 and MP55 are using the same material but just only the name makes it look high class a bit.
as for MP100 and Ti10, I think I better go there and get a few swing on the racket first. Or perhaps I should wait for MP99. The vendor in Klang told me that MP99 cost RM100 more than MP100. Oh My God...
Anyone went to the sports sales in Nanyang Siang Pao already? How is it?
Any good recomendation on which badminton shoe is better? Had anyone used the Yonex AR85 before? How is it?
Thanks in advance!

No.... MP-77 is Ti or UTI or watever.... MP-55 is HM graphite...... mp-55 is short and only comes in 2u... mp-77 is long and comes in 2 or 3U .....
Both MP-100 and TI-10 are good racquets... MP-100's control seems easier though... MP-100 is more manuverable then ti-10... ti-10 has slightly more power ........ MP-100 I like the handle... it's bigger then the ti-10s handle so u can grip "more" up then ti-10 for doubles..
MP-99 .. if it cost 200 USD then don't get it! lol.. price will drop I bet.. I mean.. arn't prices in malay and singapore really cheap?

well, price aren't really that cheap in Malaysia...
btw, Malay is one of the race here in Malaysia... juz fyi...
the 1st point I agree, I had check the spec and found it is true...
I'm not too sure how MP100 feel like compare to Ti10, may be this weekend I'll go to KL and have a feel on the racket.
Anyone used MP100, MP99/90 and Ti10 before?
Which one is better in term of smashing power, feel, control, durability, better for single/double etc?
Ur opinion is very useful and valuable.
Thanks in advance!

and i do not know how to really answer your question but these i can say
1. JP rackets are definitely superior to SP rackets. i compared ti10SP and ti10JP and byro-neium and me feel that the jp one is better by far!
2. mp90 is the best... it is fast (doubles) yet stable (singles) and powerful (both)!
3. durability = i have not broken any of my rackets mentioned here... and i dun intend to! so i dun think durability is an issue here.
happy shopping! =D

Thanks |R|S !
I do think MP99 is quite good also... If I'm not mistaken, during Thomas Cup, most of the Indonesia men players were using that... but I can't be too sure just when I watched back the video, all their racquect's colour look like MP99's colour...
