Instructions for our CCC 'Booking In List'

Greetings,

Because there are many of our players new to Badminton Central, and they do not know how to add in their names to our 'Booking In List', we will create this thread to instruct them.

Just follow the 4 steps below:
(1) Click on the 'Quote Button' of the last post that has the 'Booking In List'. You will see the Quoted Booking In List on your screen.
(2) On the Quoted Booking In List, delete/erase the [quote=so-and so] (at the top) and the [/quote] (at the bottom).
(3) Type in the next number on the list and add in your name.
(4) Click on the 'Submit Reply Button' to post it.

And you would have added your name on our 'Booking In List'.

We hope that the above instructions are easy and simple to follow.

Many new BCers are doing the 'Booking In List' correctly in our CCC Wednesday Badminton at MSAC thread.

Some players have asked:
Do we need to book in to attend our Friday CCC Badminton at Waverley session?

Answer:
Currently, there is no need to book in for our Friday Session at Waverley.

Reasons:
It is important for us to provide enough games for our players attending our sessions.

Our session at MSAC is a 3.5 hour session. At Waverley, a 3.0 hour session.

At MSAC, we could add/subtract the number of courts booked, at Waverley, we couldn't.

If we have fewer players attending our MSAC session, we could reduce our court booking. At Waverley, we still have the 'fixed' 4 courts booked.

If we have more players attending at MSAC, we could try to increase our court booking there. At Waverley, we still have the same 'fixed' 4 courts booked.

Conclusion:
Before our attendance at Waverley is consistently high (greater than 32), we would not need to have a 'Booking In List' at Waverley.

But, please note that when you are adding your name to the list, you should click on the 'Quote Button' of the last post that has the 'Booking In List'.

Otherwise, some players who have booked in earlier would have been removed from the list.

If you are to remove your name from our Booking List because of some unforeseen reasons, please renumber the list without your name in it.

It is hoped that we have a correct count of players attending all the time.

It would also make it easier for the next person to add his/her name to the next number.

You have forgotten to delete/erase the top/starting part of 'quote=chris@ccc;971585', therefore it is still there.

Actually, when you delete/erase the 'start quote' and the 'end quote', the message written inside becomes your message.

Answer:
Yes, we do need to 'book in' when wishing to attend our Thursday CCC Social Sessions at Aqualink Box Hill.

It's only at our Friday CCC Sessions at Waverley where 'booking in' is not required.

Reason:
It is important for us to provide enough games for our players attending our sessions.
Our session at Aqualink Box Hill is a 2.5 hour session. At Waverley, it's a 3.0 hour session.

Please note that our CCC is not a 'Private Group'. We are part of Badminton Central trying to promote Badminton to as many people as possible.

So;
* We welcome all BCers wishing to play at CCC
* We welcome all players (weak or strong / inexperienced or experienced)

Therefore;
* Let's have all CCCers be members of Badminton Central
* Let's have all CCCers communicate at Badminton Central
* Let's not send private emails/messages to chris-ccc
(chris-ccc's BC Inbox and email Inbox are getting overloaded)
