For me I prefer Babolat Up Take (RM17) or KX Dura 1.8 (RM9). Both are thick (1.8mm) and have nice tacky feel.... Babolat VS Excel also nice but pricey... :) All only suitable for non sweaty palm...

Cloth grip... two tone Yonex with lining in the middle :)

for towel grips, it depends on what's your preference. have tried a few brands in singapore. imho:

    pacific
    - soft feel
    - cost ~s$2.50
    - available @most shops

    yonex (sunrise)
    - thick
    - cost ~s$3
    - available @most shops

    proace/apacs
    - thick
    - cost ~s$3
    - available @10n10, bras basah

    victor (1 roll)
    - thick but quality better than yonex (sunrise) version
    - cost ~s$20, 1 roll enough for 10-12 rackets
    - available @classic sports

    toalson
    - rough (similar to kwista towel grips sold in indonesia), may get blisters
    - not sure of cost
    - available @sports2000, queensway ground level

    yonex (jp)
    - soft feel, durable
    - cost ~s$6, expensive
    - bought it from sintec tampines telepark but sold out

fyi towel grips sold in thailand or indonesia cost only approx. s$0.50 each :)
