Is Towel grip good? Compared to a normal over grip.
    What are the good ones?
    Are Yonexs any good?
Is it improving gameplay, comfort, *** appeal?
    TY

I've always been wondering, but never got a chance to ask..

Why do a majority of top pro players (LD, TH etc..) use towel grips?
Why not use an overgrip?? tacky & comfortable

Is is because they sweat alot?

Towel grips last for few games only.
After absorbing so much sweat, it will be harden and will cause blisters to hands.
It is nice to play with it, but you must keep changing the grip after it harden...
unlikely overgrip, it is tacky yet can be used for a long period.
but it doesnt really absorb sweats......

I've always used Karakal soft grips.
I changed over to using yonex towel grips and other ones for a while, but it actually made me play worse.
I found that I couldn't smash very well with it, as I could not grip it as much as I can with a normal PU grip.

Personally I prefer the PU grip, and I have noticed that in recent times, professionals seem to be moving back to the PU grip rather than the towel.

Overall, the PU grip is much more comfortabl and user friendly. It also lasts a lot longer.
towel grips do make the handle lighter than a PU grip, so if you like a really head heavy racket, then think about towel grips.

At the end of the day it is personal preferance, and everyone is going to have a different opinion.

not much difference to me, cuz the way i sweat, my overgrips lasts as long as my towel grips. so i change 2-3 rackets during my badminton sessions, just to prevent the grips from absorbing too much sweat.
