Hi, anyone own a pair of these Head badminton shoes? Any comments on these shoes? http://www.head.com/badminton/footwear.php?region=eu
my friend/coach is sponsored by head, and he tells me that head shoes are just as comfortable and reliable as the yonex ones, but they last longer than the yonex ones. i haven't personally tried them yet, but i'm hoping to get a pair soon.
Yeah, a coach here is sponsored by Prince and he claim that Prince badminton (it is actually indoor court shoes) is better than YY SHB100. Cheaper, yes. Better? In what? For his pocket?
Have two pairs of HI 73 (old version of HI 74) and still like it. Compared to Yonex i don´t feel any significant difference, but don´t recommend lower numbered models (don´t know about 64) as they are too heavy for my liking. My next pair will be HEAD HI 84.
true, but none of us would know unless we tried them i personally would like to go the way that's financially friendly towards my wallet, but i'd still prefer comfort/performance
i note some of the pros eg. Zhou Mi and a few danish players, wear the HI-63. http://www.holabirdsports.com/cgi-bin/product?product=210123
Ive just received a pair of the Head 53 in blue couldnt go wrong with the price (£24) Im be playing in a couple weeks so il let you know how they feel after a couple sessions PS, Ive head prince shoes, found them too be not the best for durability
ok, played with my Head 53 in blue for the first time on Monday night Bear in mind I havent played in 2 months due to a injury that I have recovered from (achilles heel) For the price there not too bad, my last pair of badminton shoes were addidas (cant remember the model) and ventilation wise after 10 minutes of play my feet would be really hot, the Head cooling ventilation system does seem to work as my feet were fine and I played for a good 90 minutes non stop Give or take a months worth of playing they'll loosen up nicely but for the price I paid Im happy with them, price wise Ive seen them online now for £20 including p&p
In japan open i saw Zhou Mi with HI-84 in white. This expensive stuff from Head is very cool in my opinion (like Metallix 8000 Tour and 10000 Tour racquets), but for low end shoes i think yonex is a better choice...
