Saturday morning sessions in the East

Hi everyone, I'll be booking a court every Sat morning (or trying to, at least) at Changi Simei CC. The first session will be:

Date: Saturday, 27 Sep 2008.
Venue: Changi Simei CC (near Simei MRT)
Time: 9.30am - 11.30am, Court 2 (the one beside the stage; can put our stuff there =P)

Since I only booked 1 court, looking for max 6 players. Cost will depend on no. of people. If 4 or less = $3 each, 6 persons = $2 each. 5 more slots available:

1) me
2)
3)
4)
5)
6)

Yonex shuttlecocks will be provided (not sure how good they are though so if you have any particular preference you're welcome to bring your own); I'll be sponsoring them for this session as well. You just have to bring your own gear & racquet. I'm (probably) a high-beginner to low-intermediate level player myself, but players of all levels are welcome. Advanced players please be patient with me ^^ Please PM me or just post here if you want to play.

For those who've not played at Changi Simei CC before, it's one of the newer CCs, very clean, relatively good lighting. Better than the other CCs I've played at so far. It's got clean toilets and a water cooler too, and a coffee shop at the CC itself so you can makan after playing if you like. It's just a few blocks from Simei MRT (please refer to the attached map).

tanleels, yyAMT700 -> Can you guys make it for this session?
yenny -> You haven't moved to the east yet right? You mentioned October last time... from which day onwards will you be able to play at Simei? =)

tanleels -> I think that's quoting right? I meant editing the first post itself, not quote... but it's ok, don't really need to do it actually ^^ Glad you'll be coming next Sat too! By the way just to check; usually how much is charged for the shuttles for each session? I still have some, but they'll probably only last a few more sessions... maybe from the week of October have to buy more liao...

Most work out the cost for one shuttle, n multiple accordingly...
eg, $20/ 12 shuttles = cost for one shuttle.

Haha yah sorry, filled up in just half a day... maybe will try for 2 courts next time, if enuff pple interested =)

Just wondering, I noticed in some other threads that sometimes they get up to 7 players for one court; how will that work? I was thinking maximum of 6 so we'll always have 2 pairs playing and one pair resting. If 7 players a bit confusing?

Anyway ivan is tentative for now, and I think max0200's fren too, if either of them backs out you'll be first in line ^^

Yup I'm a passion card holder. Some courts got discount for members, some don't. Changi Simei CC got discount; usually is $8/hr, for members it's $6 per hour =)

dub1111 -> Novices are ok, no problem. Actually for this coming Sat (27th) we're full liao, but I think this one time we'll try with 8 persons ba, see how it goes... so you're welcome to join us =)
