My fairly new CAB30 just broke !!! did not not even hit it on anything ......... Sadest day hopefully i can get warranty on this !!!
no i just hit a really hard clear !!! and snap .... been doing alot of hard hiting clear on it ......
Unless it's previous badly damaged (powerful mis-hit / clash or terrible string job), I am kinda surprised about the spot it's broken.
Now I have seen the picture, I am suspecting it might be stringer's fault... It is very rare to see Cab30 frame broke on that spot.
well after i got it restring i kind of lose the feeling of the racket . i can't seem to get a smooth feel for it that is why i been doing clear trying to find that feeling .. .but i make a hard hit then it just snap ... at least 100 hit on clear with that racket ....
If that's the case, I agree with SH, as it looks like a stringer's issue, or during transaction (i.e. shipping, etc). 100 clear is nothing, even if you hit like LD.
hmmmm well the feel of the racket has been lacking i was blaming it on myself because i been training hard for chicago open but i still not able to get the feel of the racket back...... well i waiting for the seller to give me a reply now ... if not i guess i have to do RMA over Yonex ......
What if he hit like the No Good Panda? 1 LX racquet only last him 2 games. I saw it with my own sleepy eyes...
Aww poor racket =( Alex, you might want to consider to get new Cab23 so you can have two, one being on stand-by and ready to go if a string breaks on one of them. I finally remember your post about your stringer being far away and your racket pic (NGB98 imprinted it), refreshed my memory so this would make life easier for you.
i am not that strong !!! panda still is number one on power " from what i heard form people who play with him" i just trying to hit the shuttle to get back the feeling ..
yeah i have a second cab30ms in my bag that is what i am using now low tension ... tear almost came out when i feel it snap ... :~~( when i was holding the racket !!! i just want to find back the feeling of fist time hiting with cab30ms .... i have totaly lost that feeling ..... no idea where to find it
ok i am sending it back for an RMA it might be bad batch of cab30 ? i don't know but the stringing method is that a reason for yonex to reject me ? on RMA? i looking at yonex official stringing and this is just normal four knot ... not the yonex stringing method on the webpage?
:crying: I lost a Cab30ms (the only singaporean one I have) on a really bad game day when I bumped the racket onto the floor in a desperate attempt to drive the shuttle back. Shuttle didn't make it, neither did the racket. The broken racket is still lying around in my study waiting for dissection. Fortunately, I still have 2 more Cab30's
Wow dont scare me pal >_< I just bought a brand new 3UG4 cab 30 ms And its really a masterpiece.. Carbonex traditional oval shape with MP grommet and Armortec700's Ultimum TI.. wooaah Btw alexkhoo, Are yours 2U or 3U ? And how much tension you put ? I use BG-85 with 25 lbs tension. 2 lbs more than the reccomended ( 23 lbs ) Quite nervous while playing.. Hope it didnt broke and last very very long time
after i got it restring at 23lb i lost some feeling so i am not sure it was bad batch of Cab30ms or it's just i am unlucky but i do use it at 100% for one whole week every single day doing clears and heavy hitting ... << does not mean i am good i just hit the birds really hard ... not as hard as everyone else but for me i give it 100% i got .... for one whole week .. and that happen.
