If this has been published before, please delete it. ------- I can't speak or read it, put the table can be useful as information. The WD Gold Medalist are using 33 - 36 lbs .... here is the link : http://www.yonex.com.cn/news/show_news.asp?id=591&type_id=1
It would be nice to be able to read it but it still is good info....I would really like to dissect one of their rackets to see if it is made exactly the same as normal production rackets....I have strung Karakal up to 17 kilo but they are super strong racket frame..... I strung one at 19kilo and when the line broke it cracked the inside of the frame....I have been afraid to try it again because of the string....
oh the link is on mandarin. dun get it. hehe.. so,the professional racket is weighter than normal?????????????
Well, you don't really need to read chinese in order to understand, first column is event, second is what medal they won(gold silver bronze), third is name of athlete, fourth is racket model, fifth is shoe model, sixth is string model and finally is racket tension
But you said he didn't use in OG2008????? Oh well. No wonder his strings sound higher pitched than LD's strings...even though it's the same tension, LCW is using a much thinner string.
For those who wants a translated version. http://babelfish.yahoo.com/translate_url?doit=done&tt=url&intl=1&fr=bf-home&trurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.yonex.com.cn%2Fnews%2Fshow_news.asp%3Fid%3D591%26type_id%3D1&lp=zh_en&btnTrUrl=Translate
That surprised me as well. She must have incredible touch to be able to play at the net with that. Hers must be the only frames still under warranty during tournaments. With regard to the X-Y format, mains/cross is possible, but it's also possible that they carry rackets spanning this range of tensions (I know tennis players do) so they can change up or down depending on conditions. (O/T, but that translated page gives Anglicized versions of Lee Jae Jin and Hwang Ji Man's names - I hope they're correct, coz what great names they are, too!)
Hehehe..where have u been in BC man?U've posted almost ten thousands posts n u didn't know that LD uses BG65.Well..most of the chinese players uses BG65,n so does the indonesian players as well,r beginning to go for BG65.That's what i've heard.Including TH.
ha ? you just knew it ? most professional player did not use BG-66, they use 0.68mm or 0.70mm .. I use BG-65 also because it is the cheapest YY string and also long last compare to BG-66 (at least for myself).
Does it mean that pro's bring racquets with diff tension to a game? Like 30, 31, 32 and 33 lbs? So they can switch racquets depends on diff situations? Of course pro's don't need to worry about the string price. And look like the most popular is 65 instead of the more expensive 95. So it mean that 65 is better?
haha,, im only a fans of YY bg -66 string.. and bg65 string, (AS FOR ME) it feels sucks.. hehe, no hard feelings
