I am able to record taufik's match. Great shots from Taufik with many backhand smashes. I try to upload tonight. Alamsyah was down 5 match points on 3rd set but he could manage to win the game. Thumbs up to him.
I didn't record it. LCW was having difficulty to play this chinese youngster. It was played on 1st court, the very left side.

Kenichi Tago is doing great for a junior player. Where's Chen Long though ? He didn't come down to NewZealand to compete at the Ashaway Northshore City International Open, while the rest of the junior squad did.. like Shu Wada, Rei Sato, Koharu Yoneda, etc.. Must've been training for this tournament.
My lord. Peter Gade lost to Gong Weijie..!? Shocking. I was expecting Peter to reach the finals too.. but no? ;(
Gong is a good player and would be a star in any other countries othan than CHN...not surprised he beat PG and PG is not the PG of old.
yeah..i would love to see Gade in final as he's 1 of my fav plyr...maybe his concern wasnt exactly 100% in that match..as he's expecting his new baby soon....he was squandered 7 MP..omg..
This shows how important the home crowd is, and how lack of experience (and consistence) the young guns are. Somehow I think ZL, LL, WYH and WL, etc are following XXF's path, as they all having shaky performance from time to time, before packing enough experience. Just hope at least 1 or 2 of them can reach XXF's achievement in the future. Out of all of them, I think WYH has the brightest future, follow by ZL. WL's career is somehow slowed down (injuries?), and LL is not really that young (unless she can follow ZN's path).
LL is much much younger than ZL... ZL is too old to follow XXF's path. Only LL and WYH will replace XXF and ZN...
