After using the at900t for about a year i switched over to the ns8000 which i think is not suited to me (moving from head heavy to head light has given me a wrist injury and tennis elbow)

I want to go back to the at900t but have heard good things about the woven 8, i am looking for an allround racket with good manouvrablity as i need a little more help in the defence department.

    I would rate the at900t:
    offence: 8.5/10
    net: 9/10
    Control: 9/10
Defence:8/10 (some may disagree but found it slightly difficult with head heavy set up)

i want to know your views compared to the at900t

I have a D900, and have had a good go at an AT900T. The D900 is headlighter than the AT900T, and has quite a bit more vibration (feel). The D900 is more flexible.

I say rest for a while and then decide. AT900T is a good racket there is no doubt about that. If you do rest and the pain is gone then do some weight training with dumbbells to train your arm and wrist.

yeah i know i should just rest and then see how i feel about the racket then phandrew but i cant afford to get injured or get tennis elbow as a result of "adjusting" to the ns8000 as when i started playing after a long break, i had problems with shoulder wrist and elbow! so i'm thinking, go with a racket which is easy on the arm...if one exists!

woven 9 is more similar to at900t because its pretty much same as woven 8 except itsslightly head heavier

would actually prefere a less head heavy racket to try, maybe even balance, need a more manouvrable racket.

You can try the Ti-10, MP100 or MP99 for even balance.

all depends on what you played with before i guess, just played 6 games with a woven 9 as a tester and found it even to light head, very good at defense and for placing shots but my smash din't feel as heavy, probably a bit of tweaking on my part.:)

On another side, this racquet can take up to 31 lbs tension, never played with anything near that, used 20-22 lbs. Anyone can bring comment re. difference and precision and feel when playing with that much (or near) tension.

    Thx all

I have tried 24, 26, 28 and 30 lbs tension before. The higher the tension, the harder it is to generate power however if you have the technique and fast swing, high tension makes the shuttle explosive.

Do take note that there's more vibration with higher tension and you will also get more injuries.

had mp99, good racket but not manourable enough for me, and at that time i was struggling with my wrists so needed a lighter racket and found the at900t to be perfect...now having improved my game considerably i am moving from an all out attacking style to a more control and genrally all round game...and my weakest point i found with the at900t was defence, but the ns8000 sorted that out.

so i guess i am trying to get the best of both worlds and dont really mind sacrifycing a little in the smash department...

had a look at the review but wanted some more opinions as different people will rate rackets differently

agree with Vincent604 that a 4u woven9 would be more similar to your previous 4u at900t and the woven9 is easy to maneuver. imho i find that a 3u woven8 is quite similar to a 3u ns8000
