    Answer which is better

I have both Yonex SHB 100 and Air Zoom Speed 8.0.

Which is better depends on what you need. I have wide feet I would say 2E or even 3 E. When I move around the court my feet are like really flat to ground. The Yonex SHB 100 has great support on the forefoot, heel and mid foot. But the darn thing doe not have enough cushion. They say that the Power Cushion in sole is really good, but I'm 200 lbs man. Damn thing can cushion my body. I defenitely have to get rid some weight. When I tried on the Air Zoom 8.0. it was not as supportive as the SHB 100, but the cushion was superb in absorbing the crashing of my feet when I would lunge and move around the court. I would say that Nike Air Zoom 8.0 has better and responsive cushion, but Yonex would still be the best if you were lighter. The Price of the Air Zoom is just too pricey for the amount technology they put in.

I have a pair of Nike Zooms (not sure which model) for cross country however I've never tried them for badminton. Very light and I can picture them to be used for this purpose however, they're quite dirty and worn in with no remaining sole traction and I'm not planning on buying another pair any time soon. Quite a buck-buster!

nike cushion and support = shithouse.
Yonex SHB100 have a good cushioning system allround. If you need extra support buy a gel orthodic sole or some sort of extra support and swap it into the shoe.

    Yonex SHB100 > Nike easily.
