Hi, does anyone know of a decent badminton club in and around the Yuen Long area? I'm fly off to HK for about 8 weeks next monday and was wondering if anyone knew of any clubs. In actually fact, my distance could be further than YL as long I can sort out my HK driving license! Basically, I just want to find a club of decent standard to play at... Anyone got any recommendations? Thanks so much, Ken
Hi Ken, It seems quiet around here... I haven't had much luck finding any action on this website. But if you can read Cantonese, you can try going to this website (Click me). It's in Cantonese and after making an account, you can join the places which you think is close enough to you and play. They list the location, time, price, shuttle type and level of play on all the posts (almost always), so it's really easy to add yourself to it. See if that helps, cos in my experience, I tried to find out more about clubs in my area (Tung Chung) but the HK badminton association doesn't seem to help alot, because of the lack of contacts they have with the independant clubs.
