It's probably also because team CHN's target is only to win 2 titles this yr (XD and WD).
But i am quite sure she'll redeem it in the Uber Cup..

    From your fellow tiger-
I hope it won't have any traumatic impacts on her debut on UC. From what I observe, WYH is still lack of a star quality as she can't her temper on court.

ZN lost the 3rd singles during her debut in UC 1994 and lost the title again as a debutant coach 16 years later.

Default What's going on with Wang Yihan???..

..the Kitten has faltered once again, in the R16 of this yr's WC, just like in last yr's WC..
It wasn't too long ago the whole BC projected her to be the next WS superstar from CHN..
But every single time she plays, recently, it always ends in a not so good news..
What is going on with her game?..Has she possibly reached her maximum potential?..Or she probably needs a major coaching change?..
And the last question of all: can her career be rejuvenated again??..

And it wasn't too long ago either that many BC members predicted her early demise at the WC. So no surprise. LYB... shame on you. JYJ... Immigration Canada has your landed papers ready

Even LYB myself said the Chinese players are very tired after the super league, and they only have 2 weeks to prepare for this WC. He didn't have high expectation in the WC. Maybe WYH can just blame on the super league.

If WYH blames her form on the CSL, that's rubbish. Her form has been dwindling even before the UC and has continued to rapidly deteriorate since.

The timing of the CSL may have been bad as far as training goes but CHN decided to run the league and have to live with it. Based on the evidence of how many CHN players have made the QF of the WC, I'd say it's had little impact as far as fatigue goes.

..from what i saw of her match (1/3 of it) vs. Eriko, she didn't seem tired..The final scoreboard also didn't indicate that WYH was anywhere close to being tired..Btw, this was their 4th meeting and WYH had won the last three prior to y'day's match; last recorded meeting was during last yr's DEN Open which also ended in 3 games..

Her game has been thoroughly analyzed by others, which explain why she kept losing after a long period of domination(thanks to her athletic ability). Even Ian and Gill, commentators spotted her weaknesses.

Hmm...did I edited it? Better let the Chinese coach figure that out themselves I guess. Anyway, I believe it's not a secret. She just needs time to rectify her habit.
