I heard of 3D Studio Max and Maya. I'm wondering which one of them is better and I would like to create a 3D game. But I don’t know from where to start. Can any one answer me?
Although the two applications share some uses, they are different tools. 3D Studio Max runs only on PCs.... Maya runs on both Macs and PCs. If your compositing work is complex, you'd be better off with more processing power... and that would mean working on a MacPro Desktop machine. For compositions that have a lot of detail (like cloth and fur), Maya is the obvious choice. All said and done, Maya has a steeper learning curve compared to 3DS Max.
Wow this is cool... is this going to be like the clone wars thingy? awesome... Any position for Director for Ideas?
