This is the only book on badminton I can find in bookstores. is it good???

The authors' names as far as I can remember are Wadood, Karlyn Tan, Sunny Kim and maybe Mike Walker.

Probably. Never did had a chance to read the book.

One book, if you still could find it, that I would highly recommend is "Excelling at Badminton" by Jake Downey.

I currently have access to the book (from the public library) and it is an excellent source of information.

Should be a useful book. Tariq Wadood is a good coach and Mike Walker is v.g. player as well. You can contact M.W. at San Diego Badminton Supply.

Jake Downey wrote several books, all of which are well worth tracking down. I have tried on www.amazon.co.uk and have have no success. Most of the content of his books are incorporated into the coaching manuals here in England.

I found 2 used copies of the book Excelling At Badminton on the internet. One is priced at $33 US, plus shipping. Is it worth it?

The other is a total rip-off!!! At $86 US (eighty-six). And the seller has many bad feedbacks.

I'll probably get Badminton Today. $21 CAN (or $14 US) plus shipping.

Ouch! That is expensive. Have you try checking with the Public Library in Toronto to see if they have a copy for you to borrow? I got my copy from the library in Vancouver and they let me have out for 4 weeks. :(

WWC, I checked the public library catalog here (Toronto). I only found Winning Badminton Singles, and that's it, no other books by Downey. Thanks for the info.
