I'm a Doubles Player and i want to switch to Singles,what Yonex racquet should I use?

I am a Doubles player now,but i wanted to play Singles,so what Yonex(best)/Non-Yonex(OkOk) racquet should I use?
My Playing Style1)Like to smash alot.(Most of the time.)
(2)Like to control people.
(3)Like to bring people to the back of the court.
(4)Not bad in defence.
(5)Like to lob alot.
Please give me comments on the Yonex racquet that i should use as i am sort of Yonex-minded,but you could also give comment about Non-Yonex racquet.

Well..that's too broad for an input.Can u tell more about whether u play more defense or offense.U like head heavy or head light or head balance.U like to play control or power.
Well..from what i read,u need a racket that's head light to even balance.Yonex,ARC saber series,NS series.

ARC10 isn't a good racket if you want power.

Why not just use your doubles racquet?

According to your profile you have a Ti-10 purple. It is a good racket so if you are lacking control it isn't your racket but what string, tension and your technique is the problem.

Is ARC10 that bad in power compare to AT-900T?

Best you can do is test if out for yourself....ARC10 might work for some people, but AT900T will work for others better. It's not the specs which charactorize the racquet, but it's the owner who decides whether the racquet suits them or not.

Best advice i could give : instead of buying a racket appropriate to the style you want to play, get used to singles, find your style in singles, then according to the result get the appropriate racket for your playstyle!

Yonex arent the cheapest racket, so you'd be losing money if you buy an AT900P/T or an Arc10 then realizing they arent suited for you...

From you post, I assume you use a Yonex raquet today when you play doubles.. I would suggest you stick with that.... Why change, if you are happy with the model and brand???

if ur comfortable with the racket u have and feel confident using it, den just use the same racket. there is no 'only singles' or 'only doubles' racket.

From experience, getting a wrong racquet, espcially a wrong styled racquet (power ect when you are more of a defensive player) will greatly reduce your enjoyment in the game.

like many of the bros here had said, it's the "feel" of the racquet. It's normally at the first few tries when you are testing the racquet, that really decides that this racket is the right one for you (an analogy of love - the right partner).

What racquet are you using atm?
Why is there a need to change?
