offline mapping

    I'm trying to find an alternative to google maps that I can use offline. Sort of like a map book. The least I am expecting is just an overall view of the streets and such, but what would be better would be there could be full features of google maps.

    anyone have ideas where this could be?

    Some cars have gps and maps. Not sure if any application provide offline maps. ;)
