hi guys i just bought a yonex nanospeed 800, i need it restrung, but i know absolutely nothing, well jus to make it easier for u guys, i play offensive, and i like to hit it hard, so i need a strong string, and higher lbs, lol i dont know the correct wording too
It really comes down to what feeling you like where BG66 has a medium feeling and BG80 has a hard feeling.
1) BG66 will break very quick. I think Alex know that first hand. 2) BG80 is a more durable string with balance of power and control. I would suggest to string your NS800 with BG80 under the same tension you are using right now.
yeah ... alex knows it welll .......... have to get a whole year supply of bg66 ... if you using that string .... one month one string ... if you play hard with that string. BG80 i think is the best bam of the buck ..... well BG65 if you want to be cheap .. and have pre strech the hell out of BG65 .. to make it feel greaT!! haha
Lol! Lets say I have a few fans using it already, besides the people chasing me with a ruby colored racket hahaha
BG80 should be the overall "safe choice". However, if durability is the top concern (especially using high tension), BG65 or BG65ti might also go on the list.
I know this sounds a stupid question but, is the tention higher which means the string is tighter? beacuse my friend got me my racket from hong kong, and it's strung at 21lb (pounds?) it was tight enough and okat¬ but finally it broke.. so i went to my local sports shop "whirlwind".. and restrung it at 22lbs.. but i was little bit looser? infact mucher looser than the 21lbs i had before.. so either it's the people who restrung it or?.. many thanks!
Higher tension means the string is tighter. A few different possibilities why the 22 is less than 21. - stringing style - stringing machine used (drop/crank/electronic) - different model string - stringing machine calibrated (if not electronic)?
Ahh thanks , err, i used the same sting, probably it's their machine.. i saw it's errr..... just a machine that she has to use her hands to turn and pull the string together... lol, sorry i don't know anything about stringing
Is she using her hand to spin a small handle (in circular like motion) which is pulling the string which is on the clutch looking device? If yes, then that is a crank.
err, i see.. so is electronic better than crank? also after she has restrung it.. she left marks on my racket.. it's like a scrath,
If she scratched the racket, then bad!!. Electronic would be the best. Crank is also very good as well.
