I've discovered this weekend that the best way to remove a badminton grommet is this: Use some small nosed pliers to squash the grommets inside the frame, so that they can pass through the whole when pushed through. Use a grommet grinder form the inside and push the grommet through. It normally pops out quite easily and then you can use your fingers to pull the grommet out. Does anyone have any other way of doing it, or if you agree with my method, please let me know. Thanks all!
The question is, how to remove used grommets, so that they can be reused And how to install them later. I guess one can substitute grommet grinder with screwdriver, as most home stringers don't have one.

This one is made by Yonex same idea as the Eagnas one, takes only only push and the grommet will come out without damaging your racket or grommet...
But it's about US$50. For that amount of $, I can simply by a few thousands pieces of new gromment, and completely replace the old ones.
Yes, but you still need to get the old grommet out .... I have this and it's actually quite handy to remove stubborn gommets ... I don't know if it's worth the price tag (like all Yonex products is overpriced), but none the less is qutie effective.
I use nail clipper to pull out the grommets. If I do it patiently and carefully, there will be no paint scratch on the racket...However, I did make few scratches due to impatient and careless.......hope this will work for someone.....
Removing damaged grommets - use a small nail? Hi, I use a small nail to push the damaged grommets from inside of the racquet head...seems to work well. No problem so far and no scratch or damage to the racquet. D.
