I began using the VS-650 when it just enter the market just few days.It has 0.66mm thickness,n i was first strung it on my arc10 at 28lbs.Feels excellent n preety durable for a 0.66mm!N after that,i have strung my 5 rackets, inc AT 900P,Woven 7,new AT700,3rd gen ti10,all at 28lbs.Has anyone here tried it also?
looks interesting. durability 8/10 is surprising given this is a 0.66mm string. unfortunately, this is not available in singapore yet. also, like jhirata, i'm quite surprised to know this was manufactured in Japan. btw, what's the price like?
at bbesports the victor string is more expensive than yonex bg66 http://www.bbesports.com/index_string.htm
The market price of it is actually more expensive compared to the BG66.In my place,it costs around 35rmb.The cheapest i found in the net is 28rmb.While the SP BG66 is around 25-30 in the net. This string is recommended if u like the thin string feel.
Yes..i think it's the 2nd highest in the durability term,if compared to the other victor strings.Even marked more durable compared to the cheaper 0.68 and the 0.70.Hehe..
Bro, this is available in Singapore. I saw it at Gala Sports on Monday. Can't remember the price, probably S$16 (including restring labour). According to the person there, this plays like BG66 but more durable, I will definitely give it a try as all my strings now are BG66, so itching to try something else.
are there any shops in singapore which sell the vs-650 string other than gala sports? dun really like the stringing jobs at gala sports.
So far I only saw it there, maybe you can buy the string only from them, ask them to take the labour charge out of it ?
Saw the vs-650 at chris's 'Victor' showroom at AMK hawker center. In fact, he has the whole range of victor string. Never ask the price though.
i like this string a lot... strung at 26 and 27... price is rm27 in m'sia...(+-8usd) the feeling is the opposite of rock hard (pardon my english)
