cheng shu and zhao yun lei... played well.. hope they can win more title.... favourite pair for china after the retirement of gao ling...

It's great to see the young guns have a great start. However, I hold the same comments as in "Soni" thread, as the 3 events are lack of competition, due to top gun's absence. Only the time can tell whether they are the real deal, or still need a bit more time to be the leading horse.

..out of the 13 matches they played in the last 3 tourneys, Cheng Shu & Zhao Yunlei only dropped 4 games...winning 26 out of 30 games, a winning percentage of 87%

As a side note, Zhao Yunlei also competed in the XD event, partnering different partners in the 3 tourneys.

some informations about zyl:
zyl:born in 1986, yichang city ,hubei province，the same city as wei yili and cheng rui.her father is a basketball coach.she defeated Du/Yu in the final of chinese National Championships last year with the partenr wang xioali. (because zhao and wang are the members of hubei badminton team)

Cheng Shu and Zhao Yunlei was defeated by Nitya/Greysia Polii at the Denmark open... only one CHN WD left --->PP/QT

Watch out Zhang JinKang and Wang Si Yun....very fast and powerful...I will call them "the spiky pair"

....both are tall..I think CBA will give them more tournaments....not sure about Panpan/Qian tian...

why do people compare new star to Gao Ling?

She's great but I think Ge Fei is way better than Gao Ling is the XD discipline.

By far way more superior than GL in WD.

Hope to see someone that has Ge Fei's aggressive net play in the near future.

i was very happy to hear that ZYL/SC pair lost from INA new pair.....
I think ZYL/SC too tired after winning 3 tourney consecutively, or their peak has dropped......
