My cone Ti-10 loose

    Hi guys,

    My Ti-10 2nd gen the cone handle there kinda loose... anyway to repair it?

    Just apply superglue, but must be sure that you put it back the same way, if not, it will be wierd if you play pushes.

    does this apply for other rackets?? Because my AT700 old versions cone has come loose and is impossible to play with as the shaft turns! Were do i apply glue? Under the cone??

    Just shift the loose cone up, then apply it on the wood, then push the cone back.:D

    Yes,it does apply on any normal badminton rackets.My old AT700's cone loosen also,n i've tried it also.Well..u can apply it on the under of the cone,or u can apply it on the part of the shaft that will be covered by the cone.:)

    thanks for all your replies. But ive just checked my At700 to fix it but then realised that the cone isnt loose. Its the shaft :confused: the shaft moves but the cone doesnt. can anybody help me please!!

    Looks like the screw that is holding the shaft in the handle is loose or something. To find out what the probable cause is, take off all the grips off the handle and find whe screw hole where the shaft meets.

    i have done that and the screw is still there but the screw wont come out. What do i do now??

    the screw is there not for structural reasons. it is there for safety.

    the glue that glues the shaft and handle has weakened. you need to remove the screw, apply some epoxy glue into the handle where the shaft goes in. and then put the shaft back in. make sure you give it ample time to dry and set.

    do not use superglue, they are brittle and not fit for this job.

    The cone may be loose so there is no glue connecting the cone and wood or the wood has cracked.

    But the screw can't be unscrewed from the handle!! Is there anything I can do now??

    stick a double side into the hole... then press it with anything sharp... hopefully the tape would 'glue' the screw out....

    thanks for that i have managed to dig the screw out. But the thing is that the cone doesnt come off. So is it possible to squeeze some epoxy glue down where the shaft goes and wipe off any exess??
