Recently since Indonesia Open SS 2008 Indonesia MS became powerful except for OG. In INA Open 08, SDK won the title follow in Japan SS and CMO 08. Before Japan SS, Simon won his first title in TPE GP, and TH just won his title this year in Macau GP. So, for SS and Gold GP, INA MS now stronger, but the result is can't be like this if CHN MS like LD joint the tourney that INA MS won.

But, it is good for INA MS squad. At least they have some motivation and confident that they also can win the tourney....

Not only LD, but don't forget another tough obstacle Korean players Park Sung Hwan and Lee Hyun Il who also take long absence. We may hope INA MS positive trend will be continued at two upcoming SS in Europe...

    hahaha... that's right!
that's why we have to pray to God so that alamsyah yunus, tommy sugiarto and andre kurniawan will raise up
and help Indonesia to stand again as a powerful badminton powerhouse.
because to be a soccer powerhouse I don't know when. :D

    hehehe..........
so, it's better for INA government to put more attention on Badminton...
Provide more funds to train and send more players on overseas tourney trips....

INA can proud only by badminton.......

aldi is a talented player for sure.

but he has to work even harder since they are many many many young talents that are on par or even above him at present time.

Minus Sony, all top flight INA MS failed to reach QF in India SS 2013. To make thing worse, there is no top CHN MS participated ("only" CYK).

For the first time, INA sudirman cup MS could be the weakest to bring point if Sony is still unfit.

We will see in MAS GP gold Sony after a few months rest.

Coach Joko said Hayom and Tommy lack variation in their plays.

Yeah. 5-10 years back, INA MS is 50-50 when against CHN and DEN, or perhaps MAS; and a sure point against other country. But now, INA MS is a sure loss against CHN and MAS, and 50-50 against JPN, KOR, IND, THA, DEN, or even HK.

And Joko probably right. Tommy is lacking of weapons, so perhaps his game variation is average. While Hayom has all the weapons but unable to use and apply to various situation.
And Simon, one of his strength was his speed, but seems he is still not up to his physical fitness and form prior to his illness.

Alamsyah Yunus just won the Malaysia GPG!!! Congrats to him. I hope it is not too late. We need his fighting never-die spirit in INA Sudirman Cup team. If SDK is still injured, can he be called to sub?

It looks like no Sony and Simon in the roster. We are very lucky if we can pass India at this time considering they have strong WS : Saina and Sindhu and several young MS players that even Tommy and Rumbaka will find hard to beat.

Saina is a bit yo-yoing at the moment, Sindhu & IND young MS are yet tested in high-pressure team event, and barring any upset, we'll win doubles hands down.

Having only 2 MS in the roster is really risky to go beyond prelim round.
