How come Lin Dan choose such a low-end model after SHB 98 has discontinued?

    Any one tried 57C?

    Maybe it's comfortable?
even if he chooses low end shoes, he's still a great player himself.. equipment means nothing.

lol the shoes make a difference, whether you can move around on the court without pain or grip..but other than that...shoes are shoes >_>...lin dan could just as easily beat any one of us with a $10 canadian tire racket :p;)

agreed so equipment is no longer an issue for him to be honest, unless he is competiting in the world circuit.

Looks like Cai Yun is using SHB-71? It's because he found out I wear them.

Ok, let me restate that so it is more relevant ;)

Looks like Cai Yun is using the SHB-71. This could be because

1.) Lin Dan and Cai Yun are probably part of a conspiracy to promote the low-end Yonex models as "still desirable" for those who don't want to, or can't afford, or don't fit the 91 or 100 models.

    or

2.) Lin Dan and Cai Yun found out that these low-end models work just as well. They sold off their sponsored free pairs of SHB-100 for a quick buck, bought these cheapie models and pocketed the difference.

I think you have to concern a bit on how long this stock has been in the store.
As you know rubber has limited age.
