An annual competition similar to 2007, will be held in Guangzhou.
Almost all top Players from China, Malaysia, Korea & Denmark (Thailand in 2007) will take part in this group event.

similar to last year that before chn open. still got 3-day break

erm... but I don't think so Malaysia players will participate because johore open final only end on 14/11

I also read brief news about this invitational event through CBA website (translated version). "2008 Four Countries Badminton Championship" will be held at Guangdong Lingnan Pearl Colosseum (same venue with last year event), Foshan City, Guangdong from 14-15 November 2008. The participating countries are China, Denmark, South Korea and Thailand with top shuttlers attendance such as Lin Dan, Xie Xingfang, Cai Yun/Fu Haifeng, Du Jing/Yu Yang, Lee Young Dae/Lee Hyo Jung and Joachim Persson. This team competition will adopt Sudirman Cup format, divided by two groups and each group consist of two countries.
