yeah. it is true. there was some security hole that was patched. i got too busy at work in the past couple of days i haven't gotten time to fix it. i will have it fix and re-open the frontpage again. meanwhile, the frontpage redirects to the forum.

Agree ... Hackers just want to have fun... and they are always causing trouble.

All I can say is "Please have FUN somewhere else".

If Kwun has time to fix the security hole, he definately has time to fix the broken URL link in the serial thread which has been broken for a over like more than 2 months now? This should of been fixed already. I doubt time is an issue because I see posts from him, which is time therefore, the explanations being given in the above does not really add up.

You mean the link inside the serial thread or you just click on the link to go to the serial thread?

I have tested this from various locations and the problem is there. If it does work, show me your screen shot.

    The Yonex serial numbering scheme

    .
Matt ... I see what you mean. When clicking on the link contained in post#1 of the serial thread, we find a "404 Not Found" message.

Btw, was that mentioned link meant to be ... : click here

Nope it's not the one, it did use part of the picture in it. The link had a thread article which helped understand what the serial number meant. It also listed the racket codes which is currently known.

George, you are on the right track. Try clicking the link, you will find out what I am referring to.

    --------------------------------------------------------------

    ctjcad,

The Ebay link would be the correct one which as this information was copied directly from the BC thread when the link was working. I find it funny that the user (Gayys) failed to give credit because he copied this from BC.

With this Ebay link, Kwun should be able to reconstruct the thread with the information there by copying back since it was BC's to begin with and change the URL in the serial thread to the new location.
