Coaching in Liverpool

Does anyone here know any coaches in Liverpool that do individual badminton coaching. I joined a club recently and I'm probably the worst player there and looking to improve my game.

There are very few coaches in liverpool, none that I know of who would do individual coaching.

Which club have you joined?

Do you know anyone that does it from Chester or Manchester etc, I don't mind travelling if necessary.

Joined South Liverpool a few months ago.

South Liverpool are a good club, is Bill Overmire still running it?

There is a gentleman there called Dave who is on the first team, I think he has a coaching certificate and knows how to teach quite well. Another very friendly guy called Rob Sowden helps run Fords Badminton Club, it's one of the best and most popular clubs in the liverpool league. He is a certified coach (level 3) and coaches Lancashire juniors, have a look at the Liverpool and District Badminton League website:

I've moved to Leeds now and know of a coach here, not sure if that'll be of any help to you, or whether he'd be willing to travel.

I qualified as a coach 7 years ago and I am happy to cater for beginners, club players or one to one sessions that want personal training and skill refinement. I also have links with clubs within the league to allow progression.
