    Hi every one !

I'm Buldo, I live in France and I'm just a casual player.
I'm still studying and I've come here to find some piece of information (about physics of shuttlecocks and how to get better...)

I'm not often on the internet, so I wouldn't be able to answer very fast. :s
But still I think I'll enjoy this forum a lot ! (Badminton has become a real pleasure these times...)

    Play well !
    Buldo

    Welcome..

..to BCBF, Buldo(Buldo)!:)..Just curious, is that your nickname or real name?? If it's your nickname, mind sharing how you got it? If it's your real name, is that short for a longer name??..(pardon moi if these are dumb questions to ask):p
Yes, i'm sure you'll find a lot of infos abt badminton and its physics in relation to all of its components (e.g. shuttles, rackets, shoes, even strings). And who knows, you might even find more stuff than what you actually are looking for... ;)
On that note, hope the guys here will answer whatever queries you have as fast as you ask us. Have fun surfing this forum, visit us often and vive le badminton!;)

*Btw, are you from Paris?? If so, the French Open Super Series is coming up this month. Are you planning to attend it??..

Hi thanks to every one !

I'm actually having a good time surfing here even if I don't have much time now...

To ctjcad and etudiant : I live near Lyon (I can't attend the French Open Super Series... and I have to admit that I didn't know there was one :s (I like badminton, but I'm not a real fan... I think, I prefer playing badminton, than watching it ( I really do have little time (actually, I'm not managing time well... :) )))
To ctjcad : I don't understand waht BCBF is... is it BCDF that you're talking about ?
Otherwise, this is my nickname ! It came from my childhood (I'm not that old though ^^), in fact it is linked a little to pokemon (an anime) and a little to worms (an old video game)...
My prefered pokemon was Bulbasaur... and the first nickname I have ever had was Bulldozer and Bulldog (guess why? :D)... So, I shortened it and it became Buldo : (that, by the way, means "Water Bubble", when it is written "Bulle d'eau"). That's the story of my nickname ! A story you're almost the ones to know ^^

Thank you for your welcomes !

    Play well !
    Buldo

PS : By any chance, does anyone of you have the thesis I'm looking for (AJ Cooke's) ? Thanks a lot again !

    ^^Ah-ha..^^

..aaahh, so your screen-name is derived from "Bulle D'eau"....very charming indeed...;):)

As for the French Open Super Series, yes, they just recently awarded it a Super Series title and it's still relatively new.

BCBF stands for Badminton Central Badminton Forum; i didn't invent the initials, just saw it here being mentioned. Although, yes, BCDF initials make more sense..

Oops, I just noticed that the link is dead

    No worries, Buldo :)
I have this thesis in one of my computers.

Send me a Private Message with your email address.
Give me a bit of time... and I'll send the file to you.
