    ive 3 yonex rackets:

    at250 with nbg95
    at700ltd with bg85
    mpltd with bg65ti

the at250 and mpltd both make quite a bang when the shuttles are smashed. (too chicken to use the at700ltd due to chipping)

my friends and other randoms i play usually duck or if not, look around to see where the shuttle landed, as they say the shuttles seem to disappear after i smash them. 95% of the time my jump smash will end the rally.

just wondering about the theory behind this smash?
what can i do to maximise the "BANG"?

any recommendations for the at250 or the mpltd for the "BANG"?
i would really like get the smashes louder :p
but im not sure how.. other strings? tensions?

    thanks for reading

Swing hard, hit the sweetspot, dont' slice, and play in a very echoey gym, and you will get bangs all over the place.

do plastic shuttle can create big bang?
extra loudness can be obtain by using bg-85 or nbg-98.
hit the sweetspot with square contact.
add some gun powder if necessary.

Wear baggy trackpants, and just whack it with your racquet. It'll make a big 'bang' sound and scare off all the little kids. Literally.

Since you're so 'good',why bother having 'explosive' strings?
If your smashes are that powerful, the sound produced should be just as loud as you hit. You're also using some quite expensive strings .

    Bragging rights?LOL

=.= when i say that my jump smash will end the rally, i'm not intentionally bragging.

if i successfully execute a jump smash the rally normally ends, but i can hardly execute it properly. sometimes i jump and swing.... and i dont even make contact with the shuttle.

but its still funny seeing people duck and while holding the racket above their head.:p

When choosing the tension you have to follow what you're comfortable with.
You cannot think that the higher the tension of the string, the better you will smash. From ur current strings,if you think a higher tension setup will do more good for you, just try it out.Its for you to try it out yourself.

How about fixing nano-C4s on the strings? Or maybe some of those mini firecrackers. That should do the job.

I think mostly are olser or a lot older and experienced than you.No offence intended.
When you said your smash was so powerful most of us probably thought yor smashes were like lin dan or other national professional players but you mentioned 'school badminton' so,obviously we didnt see that coming.

Anyway, rule no.1 in forums is,please, dont brag or show off too much.No offence intended-again.
