Playing recreational games with newly stringed racket

    I just finished stringing with bg85, 21lbs. Should I use it to play short recreational style games with my friends or should I only use it for more serious games. I'm afraid I might break the strings or wear it out already just from playing for fun. Is there a setting time before you can use the racket after stringing?

    There is no set rule, go ahead and play with it. Wear and tear is always going to happen so just play normally with it.

    Where did you get your racket stringed at?

    LOL, funny but true. :D Guess I'll just use it and experiment with it to see how the new strings feel like.

    Why? Are they better? Because I don't want to go all the way to Vancouver, I don't have that much time.

    There are quite a number of people and stringers that i met said that after stringing,some time should be given to the racquet and string to settle down,ie;2-3 days.
    I personally do that too.:)

    Lets put it this way. One of the RPro staff gets it stringed at Tad's and not from RProi!

    I guess 21 lbs for BG 85 is too soft.....
    i put 21 lbs on my cab 8
    it feels numb!!

    After the tension drop, u'll start to feel numb....
    Happens to my racket....:(
