Funny ,my post was deleted

..appreciate all the mods' and owner's wisdom, discernment, fairness, patience, open-mindedness, good sense of humor, generosity, kindness and judgment (hmm, what other words to describe) in deciding which posts/threads should be left alone/unlocked or deleted/locked.
Add to that, there's always a gray area in those situations...

Well I definetly posted it as it was there for at least 1hr as I switched my Computer off and turned it back on an hour later and It was gone
+ I still get the thread alerts from that page even though I haven't posted in that thread since

I have seen this rarely on occasion where my own posts disappeared as if I never posted even thou I knew I posted it and there was nothing wrong with them. I would repost them at times when I notice it.

If the posts were not deleted or removed, could it could be possible that the server rolled back if it had an issue. If this the case that could explain things besides posts besides ours gone missing.

I have inserted a post related to Lin Dan video, this one:

This have been removed from the Badminton Tournament Video Sharing, and then I thought that this as been removed, because wasn't the right place, and I inserted in General Forum . You also remove it (or another moderator) from here.

What's the problem with this post?

I'm the one who deleted it... not once, but twice.
The reason for deletion has been set out by modious.

The next time, please "Search" before you open a new thread.

I would say it would be nice if the thread is locked it with a message saying moved/deleted etc... instead of deleting the thread as if it never existed. An exception would be if the post was inappropriate that it should be removed.

In fact, a 'closed' message is posted whenever there's a point to be made.

However, for an insensible thread that has no place in the forum, allowing it to stay allows it to be read as well.

Result: 'Poof, it's gone'.

but at least that 'someone' who deleted a member's posts or threads must give notice or send a pm to the poster about thread/post have been deleted/moved
