Pecheur, would you ever use this baby on a long trip? have you been on a CAAD4 before? i have a CAAD3, and it is very torturous for any rides longer than 50miles. make sure you get a good saddle that fits your backside. for the average ride up to 40 miles, it is very nice and fast. make sure you inspect the frame and look for cracks near the BB and headtube. those places are prone to failure especially on Al frames. my friend cracked his headtube with less than 1000 miles on the bike. the price is very decent.

Silly Kiwis The whole point of this board is to talk about non-badminton stuff, that's why it's the General Chit-chat board If it was badminton related it would most likely belong on one of the other boards.
Perhaps kwun means anything that is related to sport? Or perhaps he just doesnt want some really "unrelated" posts that "eat up" the space and bandwidth of the forum and caused some unwanted troubles that we had earlier? hum..shall keep my mouth shut.

If we don't have a chit chat forum and concentrate solely on badminton postings..sooner or later, we'll get burnt out. So having this column is good because it provides a 'break' for posters to talk about other stuff besides badminton. So this forum in fact should be about anything BUT badminton. But I also appreciate what you're saying Nic regarding the disc space. The problem is, how do we decide what should be in the chit chat forum and what shouldn't be? Hehe..I just think that Kwun likes talking about mountain biking more than 'love' and 'favourite songs', hence his posts.. Then again, fair enough I suppose, after all, hehe, it's his website and it is up to him to decide what he wants to see on the forum I suppose at present, all we can do is to post less badminton unrelated stuff, but allow the topics to still be 'anything goes'. Hmm ... Not too bad a price. But are you talking about a 2nd hand bike ?? If you are then I don't think its a great buy. Just fairly decent. First off.. Aluminium has a Fatique life no matter how gently you ride it. Everytime you ride it, its slowly dying on you ... ( Of course it isn't that bad .. just exagerrating to make my point clear ) And its really harsh on the butt. What seatpost is it using or what saddle is it ??? And very important for Alu bikes is what fork are you getting as it will help soak up quite a bit of the vibrations if its a good one. The Tiagra is decent groupset, but if 105 is available, think it will be a much better option if you wish to go for upgrades in the future. Just my little points on what to look out for. Hope it helps.
Thanks for all the replies I rode the bike and you peeps are right, it really is quite a harsh ride, guess I'll have to look for another bike when I move further from work (currently live 5 km, just over 3 miles, but will probably move 15 km from work).
