It is supposed to be his last international tournament. After French Open he is officially retired, but I dont know how serious the injury from Denmark Open is so his entrance in this tournament is somewhat still quite unknown.

Would be a pity for Kenneth if he had to play his last match internationally injured, he doesnt deserve that.

That sucks if he really retires. I remember the first I ever saw Kenneth playing was in the 2003 WC vs Xia Xuanze. That was a crazy game. I like his fighting spirit and the fact that he's one of the Europeans that gives the Asian players a challenge. Also, he's one of the few Europeans that has ever won a major title.

Totaly agree on that one, he is defently one of my all time favorite. Yet you must remember that at 34 and after some injuries he is way past his top.

Maybe it's time for him to give his place at the danish top squad for the promising youngsters such as Emil Vind and Hans Kristian Vittinghus (one of his students).

Poor KJ. If it weren't for that leg strain in Denmark Open SF against Peter Gade.. He really had a good chance. ;(
Unlucky there for him. He always tries his best when he plays and has good sportsmanship.

    ^^He got..^^

..a bit emotional there, after receiving his award. From reading his lips, after the host asked him whether he'll retire 'for good', KJ said "Yes, for good"..Thanks for the memories, KJ!
*Btw, the gentleman standing next to KJ is our own Raphy (Raphael Sachetat-pro photog master & badzine founder).
