I come across a lot of good badminton racket that is NOT made in Japan but the quality is different ..even on the same model. And what I notice so far is only Yonex racket are made in Japan. Any other good brand that has it's racket made in Japan?
Toalson made in Japan ? The racquets from Toalson seems very similar to Hart to me, and could even be from the same factory. Also, for Yonex, is it just their JP coded racquet that is made in Japan or all region code ? There's a huge difference in price.
High ended rackets are made in Japan. (Arcsaber series, Nanospeed series, Armourtec series) Not only the JP region code. to see the list, just go to yonex.com and look at the list of rackets with the made in Japan tag.
http://www.toalson.co.jp/ENGLISH/index.html based in Kobe, Japan. I assume their top of the line is made in Japan, (I could be wrong) but the lower end ones should be outsourced to an OEM in China. I think Hart is also a Japanese racquet company. Not sure, can anyone confirm it?
All Yonex high-end rackets are made in Japan regardless of country/region code. As for the pricing, different market.
dont know others but Mizuno is China you're right @gundam....I have Mizuno Tetracross 700 and at the shaft they print MADE IN CHINA
Only Yonex still has mass production line to make racquet in Japan. All the company above except Gosen are making racquet in china now. Gosen might still has some Japan market only model. But not mass produced.
The reason I ask this question is to see whether Yonex High-End justify the high price they are asking for...if others are also making in Japan and selling half the price. Of course stuff made in Japan are still very well respectable for their precision...and that will well command for the high price. So it is true only Yonex and maybe Gosen still have their racquet made in Japan.
Never tried Gosen...Probably someone can answer my question here, I don't feel like starting another thread or doing search (lazy)... What's a Gosen racquet similar to Arc10 or AT900T (Stiff, Head-Heavy/Even-balanced, Long)...
The Italian "super-racquets" would be so powerful that it can make the shuttle accelerate up to 300kph+ .. and the racquet would have a special length adjustening system that the shaft can become longer or shorter just by a touch of a button. These racquets will be banned by the IBF.
