Good prices there! finally actually found the machines and got Frances to send me some info via post. Looks like I will be ordering my machine from them. Little uncertain wether to get the challenger I with rachet system or challenger 2 without rachet...price being the deciding factor here. Is it alot harder without rachet system?

iv got a like 30 year old drop weight machine and it does the job fine, id just go with the price side of things, then in a year or so (if you choose to string other ppls) you will have made your money back and can think about upgrading, also stringing machines dont lose value that quickly. il take a picture of mine an show you if ya like? its old but it aint half accurate iv done 22, 24 and 26 lbs dont really wanna go higher, it takes me about and hour and a quarter with old school clamp system if i had flying clamps it would probably be 45 mins
anyways that was a bit off the point, i recommend the cheaper one

Noppy, yeah post a picture, would be interesting to see. The cheapest one Ive found is the challenger II @ 176.87 with two badminton clamps, or cheaper (154.87) with flying clamps.

The challenger one has a rachet system, which i believe means you can adjust the string slack without having to remove the string and regrip if you get the length wrong.
