Hi guys! After i broke my freshly strung 24lbs bg-80 after only 5 hours of play, i decided to change the string and go for bg-70 at 23lbs. I recently took back my racket at the sport shop of my city, sry its the only place that string rackets in my city. I would like to know if the stringer strung it correctly, i don't know why but it seem that someting is wrong with the racket... Also, i found on the yonex website a stringing guide who say that there a different way to string my nanospeed 7000. It looks like the stringer didn't follow Yonex's recommended pattern and he tied off the mains @ B6 instead of B8. Also, his ancor or starting knot for the mains is on B8 instead of B6... Will this affect your racquet? Probably not. Will you notice a difference? Probably not. My only suggestion is for you to straighten out the strings. Just be glad your stringer didn't screw up like this guy's
Hi Chubawamba, The racquet seems well string at the exception of the knots location. When you tie-off the mains, you should make the knot at the 8th grommet at both sides. When you tie off the cross at the bottom, you should make the knot at the 6th grommet. As for the knot at the top it is at the right place. Other than that, it seems to be good. Now that's of your business to test the racquet and see if it performs well over the time
Accept the tie-off, which have to be at the 8th grommet, the racket looks fine done to me. And there is no real different in playing if you tie off at 8th or 6th. It is just a given convention made up by Yonex.

And wow.... I believe that racket was a victim of stringing training xD... I don't think a stringer would do such a horrible stringing.....
I remember that old thread. Why you guys say it's horrible? I think the stringer desires to get paid more for "extra work" and "creativity".
chumba, in case you didnt figure it out, yes the racket it mis-strung, it seems you have many "shared" crosses on a frame thats not supposed to be sharing holes at the top, i mean really how many crosses does that thing have, its mesmerizing.
