man, it took 3 hours for me to string this, am i slow or what? lol~ btw anyone know if the fixed clamps on this thing upgradable? it would be ideal to have ones that fit in between the strings better, right now the clamps kinda nudge the strings, is this inevitable? thanks for any info!

Congrats. 3 hours is not bad for the first one.
The mains tie-off looks like it should be one further down. From the photo it looks like it is the 9th from the "T" joint. Usually it is the 8th. You may want to check the mains tie-offs also.

(Funny kitty in the shoe box :) Mine will try to play with the strings as I pre-stretch.)

good eye there! surprised you can spot that, pic is taken by iphone crappy camera, the 8th grommet hole was a beyotch so i tied off at 9th, hope that won't cause anything bad to happen.

lol... kitty playing with string is cute at first, but it gets on your nerve after a while, especially if she decides to go berserk on that string's ass.

if you tied the main off at 9, then presumably you started/ended the crosses at 10? Usually the crosses start or end at throat 9, sometimes at 8 depending on manufacturer.
3 hours is very good for first attempt - well done

Afters having string over 100 rackets it also takes me about 45min, which is a good everage i think. I always pull each string, in comparision to many dealer that only pull each 2nd. As i started stringing it also took me about 1,5 - 2 hour. So i guess 3 hours is good start.

i suppose if a stringer hates you he can secretly pull all at once... lol.
oh im such a genre stereotype, why did i assume a stringer is a he? then again i never seen a female stringer...
