Several good performances in recent weeks have taken Tine Rasmussen to the top of the world badminton rankings.
Rasmussen has climbed to the no.1 spot in the Badminton World Federation women's rankings, taking over the top position from China's Zhou Mi.
Rasmussen reached at least the semi-finals in the last two Super Series tournaments, the Denmark Open and the French Open. She now has 69,483 points, compared with Zhou's 69,480. (rc)

Tine Rasmussen is the World #1 Now.. weird how the WS ranking changes so often.. points are always so close..

As at Thursday 27-Nov-2008: ZM has returned to gain WR Top Position

As at Thursday 27-Nov-2008:
ZM has 70,920 points, and
TR has 69,483 points.
So... ZM has returned to gain the WR Top Position again.
