Several good performances in recent weeks have taken Tine Rasmussen to the top of the world badminton rankings.

Rasmussen has climbed to the no.1 spot in the Badminton World Federation women's rankings, taking over the top position from China's Zhou Mi.

Rasmussen reached at least the semi-finals in the last two Super Series tournaments, the Denmark Open and the French Open. She now has 69,483 points, compared with Zhou's 69,480. (rc)

Tine Rasmussen is the World #1 Now.. weird how the WS ranking changes so often.. points are always so close..

ZM is still the SS Queen though.

As at Thursday 6-Nov-2008:
ZM has 61,300 points, and
TR has 54,120 points.

Here, we have a much bigger difference between their points.

So... ZM has returned to gain the WR Top Position again.
