    Hi,

Anyone who lives around essex and wants to play for a club, come along to the open night that we have at Gable Hall School this coming Tuesday. Because of the small amount of members we have, anyone is invited. And if you want to play for us, and we feel that you are a good standard, then we will invite you to join. The cost is £1 and it is a prompt 7.30pm start. I hope to see some of you there.

    Matt

    That's really low cost badminton.....

Perhaps you can state the address or some directions to the venue for the uninitiated:)

    Hi,

Well, we're a friendly community, and of course, those around essex can play (unless your willing to fly ova from the US every tuesday). Visit www.geocities.com/stanfordbc/stanford for more details. If you are interested in coming then please contact me for directions. This is the ONLY open day as we prepare fopr next season. I will be there, but i will be on the bench watching

    Matt

I already play on tuesdays, Matt ;)

No kidding, got some potential members coming up that night, Matt ?

My experience with open nights is so weird. Sometimes you put a lot of work in it and nobody new is coming, and the other time you do not organize anything and new members drop by all at once.

Was just interested in the name of the club, as i played in the Essex League for many years at Frenford badminton club in the county league Div 1.
With Frans Kok, Barry Francis, Spurling brothers, Chris Patten, amongst others.
